MPM designs kits of paper model buildings, which are interpretations of real structures. Designs were being sold through newpaper, magazine, and catalog, orders placed via mailorder for the past 150 years. Today many home plans are still available through that same media as well as radio, TV and the Web.
In past years, houses, cabins, and barns were delivered as kits for their owners to construct on the land, wherever they wanted to live in North America.
Now most of the kit builders are gone, however, they left us a rich history in one facet of our growth in the US and Canada, for there are hundreds upon hundreds of plans to be explored, analyzed and enjoyed. MPM offers a few of those past and present designs in the form of paper kits or fully built models.
